Repainting is not protecting
Many Playa properties repaint rusty railings every season with a single coat over loose rust. It looks fine for a few months and fails by the next rainy season. Real protection starts with removing the rust properly, then a zinc-rich primer, an epoxy build coat and a UV-resistant topcoat. Where railings are beyond repair, we replace them with 316 stainless or galvanized and painted steel.
