Fast-built buildings need checking
Much of central Playa was built quickly in the 2000s, often floor by floor, and drawings may not match what was built. Before adding a mezzanine or a rooftop, we inspect, measure and, if needed, open test pits. Many projects end up with new columns and footings that carry the addition independently, or with a light steel structure whose weight the existing building can take.
Permits and land use in Solidaridad
Mezzanines and additions add built area, so they need a Solidaridad construction licence with structural calculations and DRO, within the land-use limits for height and density, which in the centre are strict. Protección Civil reviews exits and fire protection for commercial use. We check feasibility first so you do not design something the zoning will not allow.
