Cancún's municipal water is pumped from wells far inland and, during dry spells and peak season, pressure drops and cuts are common in many neighbourhoods. Large Hotel Zone resorts have long run their own reverse-osmosis or desalination plants for reliability, Puerto Cancún and Tajamar towers add storage and treatment to protect residents, and Costa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres projects often have no other choice. We build those plants and the storage behind them.
Seawater or brackish RO with beach wells, redundant trains and remote monitoring.
Cisterns, pressure systems and filtration for Puerto Cancún, Tajamar and downtown towers.
Plants for developments where the network is limited or absent.
Filtration, softening, drinking-water RO and UV for homes in Isla Dorada, Lagos del Sol and Cumbres.
Brine wells and blending designed with environmental consultants and CONAGUA permits.
Energy recovery, solar options and generator back-up for hurricane season.
For a Cancún resort or condo, the water plant is insurance: when the network pressure drops in April or after a storm, guests and residents still shower. That is why we design with two trains or a standby unit, storage for at least a day of demand, automatic switch-over between network, plant and cistern, and alarms on the operator’s phone. In the Hotel Zone, plant rooms sit close to the sea, so pumps, frames and pipework are stainless or duplex and the room is ventilated and raised above flood level.
Wells and beach wells require a CONAGUA concession; brine disposal needs authorisation; large plants may need environmental approval from SEMARNAT or the state. Projects in Costa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres file with their own municipality. We prepare the technical files and the hydraulic tests that support them.
