Cold chain in a hot, humid, hurricane-prone climate
A cold store in Quintana Roo fights the climate every hour. Outside air at 35°C and 80% humidity means every open door brings in heat and moisture that turns into ice on evaporators and floors. We design vestibules, sealed dock shelters and fast doors, specify continuous vapour barriers, and heat the slab under freezer rooms. Because power cuts happen and hurricanes come every season, back-up generators with automatic transfer are part of the base design, not an option.
