We install home lifts and residential elevators on Cozumel: structural review, shaft or glass enclosure, electrical feed, installation and a maintenance plan, from one contractor. Cozumel's high-end market is oceanfront villas on the north and south hotel coasts, dive-oriented homes with boats and resorts; everything arrives by ferry or cargo barge from the mainland.
Steel and laminated glass shafts that become an architectural feature.
Concrete or block shafts, waterproofed pits and lifting beams built to the supplier's drawings.
Maintenance contracts, battery rescue for power cuts and stainless finishes for salt air.
Works are licensed by Cozumel municipality; the coast is under ZOFEMAT and parts of the island are protected, and condo buildings have their own administration rules. We work with screw-driven, hydraulic and machine-room-less systems and choose the one that fits the house, the stops and the budget.
Crews and materials cross on the car ferry from Playa del Carmen; we load full trucks, plan stays of several days and keep the most-used materials in stock on site. Shaft, power feed and emergency battery are coordinated with the building permit, and maintenance visits are scheduled from day one.
Dive and cruise tourism keeps rentals busy all year, so we usually renovate one unit or room at a time.
Water on the island is hard and supply can be irregular, so cisterns, softeners and filters are standard and fittings must tolerate scale.
