We build docks, piers and boat lifts on Isla Mujeres: bathymetry, ZOFEMAT and environmental permits, piles, hardwood or composite decking and a lift sized to your boat. On Isla Mujeres the premium market is boutique: oceanfront villas on the Caribbean side, homes at Sac Bajo and Laguna Makax with their own boats, and small hotels that compete on amenities.
HDPE or concrete floats with gangways that follow the tide and lagoon levels.
Electric lifts for boats and jet skis, stainless and aluminium for salt water.
Shore power, water, LED step lighting and cleats, all marine grade.
Works on the island are licensed by Isla Mujeres municipality, the beachfront falls under ZOFEMAT, and narrow streets and golf-cart traffic mean deliveries and debris removal must be planned with the town. Pile type, deck height and length follow the bathymetry and the federal concession, never a standard drawing.
The island is small and fully exposed to the sea, so salt reaches everything: steel rusts quickly, paint chalks and hinges seize, which makes stainless fittings and marine enamels the default specification. Hardware is marine-grade stainless or hot-dip galvanised, and decks are chosen for water, sun and bare feet.
Materials and crews cross on the car ferry from Cancún, so we plan full loads, store materials on site and book ferry slots in advance; that crossing is reflected in prices.
Water is limited and pressure is irregular, so cisterns, rooftop tanks and filters are standard and every new bathroom or garden must be designed to use water sparingly.
