We build padel and tennis courts in Costa Mujeres: soil study, reinforced slab levelled to ±3 mm, glass and mesh structure, LED lighting and an optional steel canopy, under one fixed quote. Costa Mujeres is the newest luxury strip north of Cancún: beachfront villas, branded residences and large resorts facing Isla Mujeres, on plots big enough for courts, spas and private docks.
10 × 20 m courts with 12 mm tempered glass, hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated structure for salt air.
Acrylic hard courts on post-tensioned or reinforced slabs, with nets, fences and windbreak mesh.
Laser-levelled slabs with 1% fall, joints planned around the court lines and drainage that clears a tropical storm.
Exposure here is direct: open sea, trade winds and spray reach the front rows of every building, so metal, paint and outdoor finishes corrode faster than in Cancún city and need marine-grade specifications. Orientation, light spill and noise towards neighbours are designed from the start, because most courts here sit next to homes or guest rooms.
The zone is about 90 minutes from our workshops and 30 minutes from Cancún suppliers; we group deliveries and keep crews on site for full days so travel does not eat into the job. Slab joints, hot-dip galvanised steel and stainless fixings are specified for this exposure so the court stays flat and rust-free.
Building permits come from Isla Mujeres municipality on the continental side, and almost every development has an HOA with design rules, approved work hours and a requirement to register crews and vehicles at the gate.
Water comes through the Cancún network with frequent low pressure in new phases, so most homes rely on cisterns, pressure pumps and filters, and gardens need drip irrigation planned around stored water.
