We build padel and tennis courts on Holbox: soil study, reinforced slab levelled to ±3 mm, glass and mesh structure, LED lighting and an optional steel canopy, under one fixed quote. Holbox is a car-free island of boutique hotels and low-rise villas; premium work here means spas, plunge pools, small courts and lagoon-side docks, with every material ferried from Chiquilá.
Acrylic hard courts on post-tensioned or reinforced slabs, with nets, fences and windbreak mesh.
Glare-free LED floodlights sized for club play, with timers and dimming to respect neighbours.
New artificial grass, glass replacement, acrylic resurfacing and lighting upgrades on existing courts.
Holbox sits between the Gulf and a shallow lagoon: very humid, salty and exposed to northers in winter, so wood, metal and paint need extra protection and frequent maintenance. Orientation, light spill and noise towards neighbours are designed from the start, because most courts here sit next to homes or guest rooms.
Everything arrives by ferry from Chiquilá and moves on sand streets by golf cart or small truck, about three hours plus the crossing from our workshops, so jobs are planned in tight batches. Slab joints, hot-dip galvanised steel and stainless fixings are specified for this exposure so the court stays flat and rust-free.
Fresh water is scarce and supplied irregularly, so bathrooms and gardens are designed with low-flow fittings, cisterns and treated greywater wherever possible.
The island is part of the Yum Balam protected area, so works need municipal and environmental approval, building heights and materials are restricted, and vehicles on the island are limited.
