Main kitchens, banquet kitchens, outlet kitchens and laundries for hotels in Tulum, rebuilt for full occupancy while service continues. High season runs from mid-December to April and around events; many boutique beach hotels close or slow down in September and October, which is the natural window for heavy works.
Hoods, ducts and fresh air that keep kitchens bearable at 35°C.
Grease interceptors, laundry water treatment and reuse.
À la carte and buffet kitchens next to each restaurant.
Much of the beach strip still lives on generators, trucked water and private treatment plants, and staff housing is scarce and expensive, so energy, water and housing projects pay back faster here than almost anywhere else. Kitchen and laundry design starts with these supply limits: storage tanks, grease interceptors and water reuse are sized accordingly.
Tulum is about an hour south of our workshops; the beach road has load and hour restrictions, and many hotel sites can only take small trucks and hand delivery through sand. Hoods, cold rooms and laundry machines are scheduled and installed with these access conditions in mind.
The municipality of Tulum, the National Park and federal environmental authorities all review projects here; many beach hotels sit on land with ZOFEMAT, MIA and land-use issues that must be cleared before any expansion.
