Unlike the rest of Costa Mujeres, Puerto Juárez belongs to the Benito Juárez municipality (Cancún); towers apply their own fit-out manuals and the coast road has loading restrictions near the ferry terminal. In towers, kitchen works need the administration's approval, especially for gas lines, extraction and plumbing changes.
