We build private spas in Puerto Morelos: dry saunas, steam rooms, temazcal, cold plunges and home gyms, with the waterproofing and ventilation the climate demands. Puerto Morelos mixes low-rise beachfront condos, villas north of the leaning lighthouse and the marina area, on a coast backed by the national reef park.
Thermo-treated wood interiors, electric or infrared heaters, glass fronts and dedicated ventilation.
Fully waterproofed and vapour-sealed rooms with sloped ceilings, steam generator and aroma dosing.
Traditional Mayan sweat lodge in masonry or adobe, built with local craftsmen.
Houses by the sea get salt and wind, while the jungle side is humid and shaded, so the same house type needs different paint, metal and garden specifications depending on the side of the highway. Wellness rooms add value to villas and rentals here, so we plan them with the pool, terrace and guest flow.
Town water reaches most of the coast, but jungle lots often depend on wells and cisterns, so filtration and storage are part of most bathroom and garden projects. Vapour barriers, extraction and drainage keep steam inside the spa and out of the rest of the house.
Puerto Morelos is about 30 minutes from our workshops and close to Cancún suppliers, so materials arrive quickly and crews can return daily.
Puerto Morelos has been its own municipality since 2016 and issues its own licences; the beach strip is under ZOFEMAT and the reef national park, and gated communities add HOA rules.
