We build private spas in Xpu-Há: dry saunas, steam rooms, temazcal, cold plunges and home gyms, with the waterproofing and ventilation the climate demands. Xpu-Há is a short strip of beachfront villas and boutique resorts between Puerto Aventuras and Akumal, almost all high-end and directly exposed to the sea.
Thermo-treated wood interiors, electric or infrared heaters, glass fronts and dedicated ventilation.
Chilled plunge pools in concrete or stainless, with filtration and a chiller sized for 30 °C air.
Massage and treatment rooms with showers and wet-area finishes for hotel and villa spas.
Exposure on the beachfront is strong: salt, sun and wind reach terraces, pools and facades every day, which shortens the life of paint, wood and metal without marine-grade specifications. Wellness rooms add value to villas and rentals here, so we plan them with the pool, terrace and guest flow.
Many properties depend on wells and cisterns with hard, sometimes brackish water, so filtration and softening are part of most bathroom and maintenance work. Vapour barriers, extraction and drainage keep steam inside the spa and out of the rest of the house.
Licences come from Solidaridad; the beach is under ZOFEMAT and many lots sit near mangroves and cenotes, so landscaping and exterior works must respect environmental limits.
Xpu-Há is about 30 minutes from our workshops; access roads to the beach are narrow, so deliveries are planned with small trucks.
