We build wine rooms, glass wine walls and home cinemas in Chetumal: insulated envelope, vapour barrier, cooling, racks, acoustics and AV, delivered by one team. Chetumal is the state capital on the bay: bayfront residences along the boulevard, institutional and commercial buildings, and a growing market for lifts, gyms and bay docks.
12–14 °C and 60–70% humidity with split or ducted cellar cooling and a sealed envelope.
Insulated glass enclosures for living and dining areas, with UV-safe LED lighting.
Room-in-room acoustics, Dolby Atmos layouts, acoustically transparent screens and tiered seating.
Chetumal sits on a bay, so salt is milder than on the open coast, but heat and humidity are high and the city has been hit by hurricanes. Most projects here are villas and penthouses where the cellar or cinema is a selling point, so design and finish quality come first.
Chetumal is about four hours from our workshops but has good local suppliers, so materials are bought locally and labour costs are lower than in the north. Tropical humidity is the real enemy: vapour barriers, insulated glass and dew-point control stop condensation and mould behind racks and panels.
Most properties are owner-occupied or long-term rentals, so works are scheduled with occupants.
Licences come from Othón P. Blanco municipality with established procedures; condominium and commercial buildings add their own administration rules.
